Monterrey Square

Still some work to be done and will update it again when I'm finished. It's a HDR 360 degree view of Monterrey Square in Savannah, Georgia. Caught a lot of locals and tourists in the Park eating lunch. As I finished up the women in the green jackets on the bench offered me some food! Got to love the south!

Tree Frog

I took this picture of a Green Treefrog, (hyla cinerea)
tree frog that I would have stepped on had it not been for keen eye of my fellow backpacker. I pulled out my 105mm macro lens and cpatured this shot on Cumberland Island, GA.

Alps Chocolate

I exposed this image at F/36 but still didn't get the depth of field I wanted with the 105mm Micro nikon lens. May need to revisit this project and focus stack it.

Alison Dance Portrait.

I would like to thank Alison Gusler of Asheboro, NC for helping me with this portrait and trying again and again to get the shot I wanted. Shot this with a 200mm lens with strobe.

Skewer Tips 1:1

The more I shoot macro the more I amazed at how I see the World. I never imagined the shaved tips had such complexity or style to them. So much beauty in nature. My love for photography has surely grown in this class.

Dark Field/Light Field Glass

I shot both of these images at a 1:2 ratio of the top of a glass jar. Shot these on my dinning room table at 5 in the morning!

Abalone Shell from California 4:1 ratio

I'm looking forward to working with focus stacking next week. Shooting this image at 4:1 was practically impossible to get it all in focus because the curves on the inside of the shell. The colors I love though!

Water Pump ratio Pictures for macro.

Interesting study of ratios for class. I enjoyed lighting the Transparent plastic and trying to give the objects some form.
